CEDAR GROVE, N.J. – Police say six people in New Jersey who went looking for ghosts in a former hospital ended up with tickets instead.
The former Essex County Hospital Center is slated to be torn down after the county moved patients to a new facility more than two years ago.
The hunters range in age from 18 to 39 and include a mother and son from Secaucus.
They’re charged with trespassing and obstruction of administration of the law.
Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura says there are “no ghosts, goblins or boogeymen” on the hospital grounds.
