A friend of mine on MySpace ( Bettina Pyre) sent me a great question recently. One I had actually never considered. She asked basically that given the nature of how a Ghost or Haunting usually begins why are there not many tortured souls running around Los Angeles from all of the gang killings and violence. Souls who have unfinished business. My best answer to that is many fold . First I would say that perhaps the ghosts or actual souls follow for whatever reason the same pattern as do the ghost and souls left at a battlefield. In many cases there are hundreds or even thousands who have lost their lives violently in a small area during war, but the spirits do not appear often…or sometimes not at all. Second I would say that perhaps because of all of the energy( human and man-made forms) present in a large city such as Los Angeles it is not easy for the spirits or ghosts to manifest…at least on a large scale. And third I would say perhaps the spirits and ghosts are trying to make contact and the people they are manifesting for do not notice them. Many times a ghost or spirit will try to make contact through actions such as turning TV’s on and off, or turning lights on and off…things along that line. Perhaps the people seeing this are just not paying attention or they are non-believers. I know many people who have had incredible experiences but they do not believe. I heard of a person once who said that his TV turned on once by itself and ran for a while…and it was unplugged at the time and had been for a while. When he was told that it was most likely some kind of a Paranormal event he just shrugged his shoulders and said it was probably just some electrical mess up. So to sum up Bettina I really can’t fully answer your question definitively…only give you my thoughts. I welcome any of my readers to chime in and post comments with any thoughts they have. The above answer is a very good one.It reminds me of a investigation we did in Pa.It was the MOLLY MAGUIRES and the wiggans patch massacre.One man hung and was not guilty anything.His hand print is still in cell 17.The other was The wiggans patch massacre.As we were wrapping up our investigation and heading out to our cars we heard gun shots in the back ground.Most of the time spirurts need engery in order to show it self.Thats why we go through so many batterys.They draw the energy from out batteriies in order to talk to and be seen by us.

I am wondering why she assumes or knows there are not that many souls running around Los Angeles?I think anyone involved in a violent gang hasn’t reached a very high level of spirituality.Therefore after they have died they have seen who they have hurt and how they wasted their chance to make a good difference as opposed to a bad one.
Batteries, really? I wasn’t aware of that.
I do see the explanations Dr. Ryles has given. Most people are not open to everything that is around them.
Another suggestion could be that maybe the spirits didn’t begin their lives in L.A., possibly only went there to be around the gang life. Their spirits have gone back to where life began, with their families, their real family. As they saw after death how it hurt their family at their funeral, they decided to join them and not go back to L.A. where their life ended so tragically and hurt their family in the worst way possible.
I would like to explain my comment a little better.In order for a spirit to be seen or heard by us they need energy.Thats why our batties go dead on our cameras and recording equipment.The spirits draw the energy they need from that.I built a EMF pump that puts out the energy the spirits need.There is only one problem with a EMF pump.It destroys electronic equipment.In order to use cameras,voyce recorders you have to be at least 6ft away.I’m working on a EMF pump that runs off a 9 volt battie.The EMF pumps they have now that runs on a 9 volt battery doesn’t put out enough energy.But all of the answers above are correct.Dr. Ryles could explain it a lot better.
