This did happen,yet no one knows what was being shopt at. People were hurt and killed, most were hurt by falling shells. Which were found all over the area in question the day after. There are people that still have these peices from that night that fell on them, these was from the shells that were fired that morning.This is real history from the WW2 era.
Sadly, this is incident has become so forgotten. I was hoping that with the new movie that recently came out, there would be more interest. Instead, hardly anyone still knows aobut it.
