UPDATE : I just received a message from Dr. Harald Riedl , the Former Director of the Department of Botany ,Vienna Natural History Museum who informed me that this plant may be alien to the Roswell area…but is by no means alien to planet Earth . It is a member of a plant group known as Aizoaceae-Mesembrianthemoideae, most likely of the genus Lithops, which occurs in desertic areas of southern Africa, mainly the Republic South Africa, Namibia and Botswana .
