I get the feel that this is where they got the movie “Flight of the Navigator from … that ship could transform it’s shaped to fit the speed it wanted to travel .. It crashed while collecting samples of life on the Earth’s surface … because it was of such light-weight material .. they only had to tie it down to transport the disabled craft to the government hide-out …
