MONSTER-MANIA CON, the East Coast’s largest horror film expo will be invading the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, CT on June 12-14th! MONSTER-MANIA CONN will be bringing to CT the biggest names in the horror film industry, including FREDDY KRUEGER himself, ROBERT ENGLUND and also BRUCE CAMPBELL, better known as “Ash” from the EVIL DEAD TRILOGY. Joining these two stars will be FRIDAY THE 13TH’S NEW JASON, DEREK MEARS, JASON MEWES of JAY & SILENT BOB fame, RICOU BROWNING, the original CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and CHRIS SARANDON, star of FRIGHT NIGHT, CHILD’S PLAY and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE XMAS.
MONSTER-MANIA CONN will also be celebrating a number of reunions including the 25th ANNIVERSARY OF NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.
Joining ROBERT ENGLUND will be HEATHER LANGENKAMP, JOHN SAXON, RONNIE BLAKELY, AMANDA WYSS, CHARLES FLEISCHER and JSU GARCIA. Other NIGHTMARE film series stars in attendance will include ROBERT RUSTLER and MARSHALL BELL from Nightmare On Elm Street 2.
Joining BRUCE CAMPBELL for a very special EVIL DEAD REUNION will be the HAL DELRICH and also “THE LADIES OFTHE EVIL DEAD,” BETSY BAKER, SARAH YORK and ELLEN SANDWEISS.
Rounding out the reunions will be a FRIDAY THE 13TH REUNION with new JASON DEREK MEARS and former “JASONS” STEVE DASH (FRIDAY 2), RICHARD BROOKER (FRIDAY 3) and CJ GRAHAM (FRIDAY 6). Also joining the reunion from the original film are JASON’S MOTHER, BETSY PALMER and “OFFICER DORF” RON MILIKIE.
Other Special Guests attending the show include SID HAIG, better known as CAPTAIN SPALDING from THE DEVIL’S REJECTS and HOUSE OF 1000 CORSPES, TONY MORAN, the unmasked MICHAEL MYERS in the original HALLOWEEN and former ALICE COOPER GROUP members NEAL SMITH and MICHAEL BRUCE. As a special treat, G TOM MAC will be performing an acoustic version of his most famous hit, the theme song for the film THE LOST BOYS.
Along with the autograph signings, MONSTER-MANIA CONN features a large Vendor’s Room, special Q&A events with the stars, and films til 2am. Also, representatives from the Dracula Tour will be on hand distributing materials on the vampire vacations to Transylvania. Tickets are just $20 per day or $40 for all 3 days!
